Building a simple daily training rotation

One cushioned anchor is enough to start

A daily trainer should handle most of the week. It needs to feel comfortable at easy pace, stable when tired, and durable enough that you are not saving it for special days.

Add contrast, not clutter

The second shoe in a rotation should feel meaningfully different. Pair a cushioned Cloudmonster with something lighter for faster work, or with a lifestyle-leaning pair for recovery walks and travel.

Know when to retire a pair

Look for uneven wear, reduced rebound, or a midsole that feels flat at the same pace. The upper can look fine while the ride has already changed.
